We are seeking a BSA Mammographer to join our Wellington team who is responsible for assisting in the provision of an efficient breast imaging radiology service of the highest quality at all times. The ideal candidate will have NZ Breast Screen accreditation; however consideration will be given to those that are interested in completing the Post Graduate Mammography Qualification
. Breast Cancer is the most common cancer in women and affects one in nine NZ women in their lifetime. Mammography makes a difference as it saves lives by early detection.

Your work day will include: - Performing a wide range of mammography procedures and apply professional knowledge in selecting and adapting methods best suited with a high level of independence.
- Working on the General Xray roster alongside your mammography position
- Providing technical advice to both radiologists and staff to ensure an effective outcome for the patient.
- Take an active part in the Quality Assurance programme.
- Contribute to the review, development and maintenance of procedural manuals.
- Work with imaging teams to maintain and develop new techniques and procedures.
- Assisting with the training programs for mammographers.
