He whakamārama mō te tūranga mahi | About the role We have an opportunity for a Radiologist to join our team, focusing on procedural requirements at our private clinic while also collaborating with the South Canterbury DHB (Timaru Public Hospital) two days a week. This is a truly integral role in the medical community, supporting the region and its residents. You will have the advantage to work across a range of modalities, with support and advice from our Radiologists across the country. Additionally, you will have the option to contribute to 'Anytime' reporting if you wish.
The role also involved multimodality general radiology reporting. The successful candidate will provide high quality, patient focused radiology services. As well as exceptional clinical skills, you will be a good communicator and team player. You will work within a multidisciplinary team including radiologists, radiology registrars, MITs, breast nurses and surgeons. We want our Radiologists to possess a true passion and commitment to the people of our region.

Ideally, you’ll have specialist experience in both Procedural and General with your Radiologist qualification and you’ll also bring experience in the following:
- A commitment to build trust and treat all patients with compassion, considerate and professional care
- A collaborative mindset to deliver excellent outcomes for the business and the team
- Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Been registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand & Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of Radiologists or Overseas equivalent
