About these roles: - These are casual positions with no guaranteed number of hours
- You will work on a casual “as and when required” basis to cover planned and unplanned leave
- You will be given reasonable notice when being asked to work and you may choose to accept or decline the work.
- Our hours are between 7am and 7pm, Monday to Friday
We are seeking two experienced Medical Receptionists to work on a casual basis. One role will cover multiple branches within our central Auckland locations, the other will cover two branches on the North Shore. You will cover staff absences and may at times be required to work full-time for short periods e.g. 1 or 2 weeks to cover leave. This is a rewarding front-line service role that can be challenging at times. The ability to be flexible and use your own transport is essential.
The branches you will be working at provide medical imaging including Ultrasound, MRI, CT, X-Ray and interventional procedures (e.g. Biopsy).
As a primary contact for our patients in the region, you will be expected to deliver a professional service with a strong focus on customer care.
Ideal Skills and experience: - Radiology administration and/or medical reception experience with relevant transferable skills will be preferred
- Previous experience in customer service
- Fantastic communication skills and sound judgement, with a proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
About You: - You will have an excellent, professional phone manner and communication skills with the ability to build empathy and rapport with patients and referrers quickly (referrers being medical specialists, GP’s, Physiotherapists etc).
- You will be a team player
- You will have a strong customer focus with both patients and referrers – knowing when to listen, asking the right questions and sourcing further insight when needed
- You will be open to learning new systems, be coachable, and confident in asking questions when the need arises
