We are seeking applications for an Imaging Assistant in Invercargill. In this position you will be assisting in the provision of a high-quality imaging service to referrers and patients, and assisting the clinical team to provide patient-focused service.
This is a fixed term, full time (40 hours) role until March 2027.
The successful candidate will:
- Assist clinical staff to complete imaging examinations.
- Assist with examination coding
- Assist with the provision of procedures to patients, including the setting up of room, trolleys, and equipment
- Ensure patients have sufficient post procedure information and support as required
- Relate confidently, professionally, and assertively with a wide range of people, but particularly with fellow professionals

- Ability to be flexible when dealing with people and situations
- Experience working in a healthcare environment
- Excellent computer literacy
