He whakamārama mō te tūranga mahi | About the role We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced CT Technologist to support the provision of efficient imaging radiology services across our Wellington region to step up into a Senior CT Technologist role. Ideally to be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Lead/assist the CT team, specifically in the provision of providing a high-quality CT service.
- Contribute to protocol development with continued process review in conjunction with our CT Service Lead.
- High levels of communication and relationship management with local referrers and patients.
- Perform a wide range of CT Imaging procedures and apply professional knowledge in selecting and adapting methods best suited with a high level of independence.
- Provide technical advice to both radiologist and technical staff to ensure an effective outcome for the patient.
- Responsibility for internal CT training as required.
- Fully participate in the CT, CT On-call roster and PET CT with the ability to work in x-ray as required.
Ngā pūkenga e rapu nei mātou | About you To be successfully appointed to this role, you will have: - Knowledge of relevant CT medical imaging techniques.
- Knowledge of current trends in quality assurance protocols.
- Demonstrated knowledge of best practice CT Imaging.
- An understanding of the requirements of clinical and professional clients.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the responsibilities of a CT Technologist in the safe delivery imaging procedures.
- An appreciation of medico-legal responsibilities in the delivery of Imaging Services.
- A relevant tertiary qualification and a current annual practicing certificate.
