We are seeking applications for a Sonographer in Christchurch. In this position you will provide high-quality ultrasound imaging services to patients and referrers while contributing to a supportive and collaborative clinical team.
This is a part time (35 hours per week) position, fixed-term until July 2027.

The successful candidate will:
  • Undertake and interpret ultrasound examinations independently and produce clinical reports.
  • Deliver outstanding patient care through clear communication, professionalism, and clinical excellence.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support student sonographer training when required.

  • Professionally recognised ultrasound qualification and current MRTB Annual Practising Certificate.
  • Experience in musculoskeletal (MSK) ultrasound would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Proven excellence in patient care and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and ongoing medical education.
