He whakamārama mō te tūranga mahi | About the role Pacific Radiology is seeking an experienced Sonographer to join our Christchurch team on a permanent part-time basis, working 25.5 hours per week. As a member of our dedicated ultrasound team, you will provide high-quality ultrasound imaging services to patients and referrers, while contributing to a supportive and collaborative clinical environment.
In this role you will undertake and independently interpret a wide range of ultrasound examinations and produce clinical reports, delivering a high standard of patient care through clear communication, professionalism and clinical excellence. You will conduct examinations in accordance with internal policy and agreed ASUM/ASA and industry guidelines, ensuring patients and their caregivers are fully informed and supported before and throughout each procedure.
You will develop and maintain effective working relationships with Radiologists, clinical and administration staff, contribute to quality assurance initiatives, and support student sonographer training when required. Maintaining an ongoing commitment to continuing medical education is an important part of the role, and we actively support you to do so.

- A professionally recognised ultrasound qualification and a current Annual Practising Certificate (NZ MRTB)
