Timaru communities can now enjoy the convenience of multiple radiology services in the one location at our new Pacific Radiology Timaru branch.
This recently opened stunning new Timaru clinic, delivers a range of expanded services including CT, MRI, mammography, all forms of ultrasound and an X-ray walk-in service. This new branch replaces previous Timaru locations and the addition of x-ray and CT scanning services at this new facility is especially important in meeting regional needs.
Branch Manager, and local Timaru resident, Rebecca Wedlake speaks excitedly of what the new clinic offers.
"Our new building is, quite simply, lovely! It’s spacious, bright and modern, and very welcoming. We have 18 staff across clinical and non-clinical roles. As well as the friendly faces that locals will recognise, we’ve expanded the team to be able to offer these new services."
Rebecca will be one of the familiar faces, having worked for Pacific Radiology throughout her career, first as a radiographer and for the last 20 years as sonographer. Ever committed to patient care, she will combines her branch manager duties with continued ultrasound scanning. Her experienced leadership and local knowledge ensures a complete patient focus across all aspects of this latest addition to the Pacific Radiology network.
Pacific Radiology Timaru is conveniently located at 45 Elizabeth Street, alongside Bidwill Trust Hospital with onsite parking. Tina Rogers, Bidwill Trust Hospital General Manager, is passionate about the availability of services for the community. She notes that the opening of this new facility will revolutionize patient care, allowing doctors, hospital specialists and medical referrers to access improved speed and efficiency for diagnostic services.
