The updated agreement marks the next chapter in supporting triathlon across Aotearoa.
Pacific Radiology Group (PRG), as part of RHCNZ Medical Imaging Group, is proud to support the three-year extension of RHCNZ’s partnership with Triathlon New Zealand.
The renewed agreement sees RHCNZ continue as Tri NZ’s Official Medical Imaging Partner, strengthening our commitment to supporting athletes at every level - from first‑time triathletes to those competing on the world stage.
RHCNZ Medical Imaging Group CEO Steve Carden says the extension reflects a shared focus on wellbeing and active lifestyles across Aotearoa.
“Since partnering with Triathlon New Zealand three years ago, Pacific Radiology, Bay Radiology and Auckland Radiology has been proud to stand behind a sport that inspires healthier, more active communities across New Zealand,” Carden said.
“Continuing as Tri NZ’s Official Medical Imaging Partner for the next four years means we can keep delivering responsive, high-quality imaging care that helps athletes start strong, go further, and recover. That’s the same level of elite care that every New Zealander receives through our network of clinics throughout the country.”
Tri NZ CEO Pete De Wet said the partnership extension reinforces the alignment between triathlon and organisations committed to supporting wellbeing, performance and recovery for New Zealanders at every level of sport.
“The value of our partnership with RHCNZ has already been felt across the sport,” De Wet said.
“During our first term together, RHCNZ and its Auckland, Bay and Pacific Radiology brands have played an invaluable role in supporting athletes within our High Performance programme, helping them diagnose issues early and return to competition with confidence.
“Just as importantly, we regularly hear from age-group athletes who are back training and racing thanks to the quality of care they’ve received through the RHCNZ network. That impact, from elite to everyday participants, is exactly why we’re thrilled to extend this partnership through to 2028.”
